Main window
- Learn Numbers! generates random numbers in the selected range (button 1 or 2 for autoplay). You can watch numbers written in figures or in words, and/or listen to the number.
- You can configure your exercise ("Options..." - button 5) - choose number category and desired range, language, voice, etc. Read more about available options below.
- To practice listening ability and pronunciation, turn off displaying numbers (buttons 6 and 7) and turn on automatic voice audio (button 8). Listen to the numbers, write them down on paper and repeat words after the speaker. After you finish your exercise, compare your answers with the history list (list 9).
- To practice visual recognition and pronunciation turn on displaying numbers (buttons 6 and 7) and turn off automatic voice audio (button 8). Pronounce numbers which you see on the screen. You can listen to the current number and check your pronunciation by pressing button 4.
- You can use so-called autoplay - numbers will be shown one after another. Set appropriate pause after each number (list 3) and press button 2. During pause, you can pronounce current number or write it down on paper.
- You can listen to the previous numbers from the "History" list (list 9). You can also save this list to an RTF (Rich-Text Format) file or you can clear the list (buttons to the right of list 9).
Options window
- Open "Options" window - button 5 in the main window
- Choose category of numbers you want to practice - plain numbers, dates (in some languages years are pronounced differently) or prices - list 1. If you choose "Prices" category, you will be able to choose currency (list 3).
- Choose desired range - lists 2.
- Choose foreign language that you study (list 4), and desired voice (list 5).
Installing and activating your personal license key
Installing and activating your personal license key is very simple. After you purchase a license, we will send you an e-mail with attached file which contains your personal license key. This file has a name license.lic.
It is better to copy this file to the folder where Learn Numbers! is installed. If you copy license.lic file to some other folder, you will have to tell Learn Numbers! where this file is, so after you start the program you will see the following window:
Press "Find license file" button and find license.lic file. After this, you will see the following window:
Press "Activate license" button to activate you personal license. Activation is done over the Internet and will take just a couple of seconds. You have to activate your license only once.
